This tour is selfguided, you choose the order and time in which you want to visit the following stops and how much time you want to spend in each restaurant and on the tour. The restaurants are carefully chosen by locals and intend to show you the best and most typical food and drinks in snack portions. At the end of the tour you have enjoyed the equivalent of a meal.
Stop 1
March□ couvert Hall'titude, Rue de la Serre 19. The "Hall'titude" indoor market is a brand-new concept in the city. It is held by a butcher, a fishmonger, a confectioner, a cheesemonger, a greengrocer and also includes a wine bar. Local products and warm atmosphere garanteed!
Stop 2
La Diff□rence, Rue du Progr□s 4. Located in a residence partly constructed in 1760 and listed as a historical monument, "La Diff□rence" is a restaurant representative of the conviviality of the inhabitants of La Chaux-de-Fonds. It is worth entering to admire the architecture of the dining room, its vaulted cellar/concert hall and also to enjoy delicious homemade pasta.
Stop 3
Le M - Ancien Man□ge, Rue du Man□ge 19. One of the most astounding buildings in the town which, as is often the case in La Chaux-de-Fonds, doesn’t reveal its hidden treasures at first glance. It is well worthwhile stepping inside the old indoor riding ring to admire the superb inner courtyard and its wall paintings.The restaurant is spezialized in meat dishes.
