    The Azores Islands are truly a walker's paradise. From old dirt paths, forests, coastal areas and small fruit orchards to towering cliffs emerging from the Atlantic, walkers are offered with unique environments, landscapes and perspectives of the islands. If you are lucky enough, it is possible to see on the horizon, So Jorge, Pico and Graciosa island.
    The landscape is full of sleeping volcanoes with magnificent calderas of several dimensions exhibiting the amazing power of nature.
    The pure and unique Azorean laurel forest, a living fossil of the Tertiary, is all around with its luxurious sub-tropical ambiance.
    During the walk an experienced and professional Nature Guide will give information about the ecology, geology and wildlife for a better understanding and knowledge of the Azorean Natural Heritage. The pace is slow so you can enjoy, relax and enjoy the breathtaking views.

    This was an awesome tour. It's definitely not for the faint of heart, we were a group of young people so were able to manage. At this time of year March there was a lot of mud and periods of rain, felt super all terrain. Our guide was incredible, telling us so much about the history, ecosphere and economy of the island. Highly recommend!

    Our guide was careful to select a hike suited to the weather and our ability. The guide came to our hotel the day prior to make sure we were comfortable with the itinerary. We loved Terceira.
