Your tour begins with a hotel pick-up by car or minibus. Your experienced guide will then transport you into the historical center of Ovar and show you what earned it the moniker “tiled city.” Enjoy a guided walking tour of the town, soaking in its distinctive style of life, and taking a scenic stroll by the town’s many beaches.
Learn about the production of sponge cake, an Ovar specialty, and the traditional eel dish, while learning about the city’s distinctive gastronomy.
Continue to Aveiro, a university town with canals and waterways reminiscent of Venice. Sample one of Aveiro’s culinary specialties, soft eggs.
