After arriving at the Sanctuary, we began our visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. The visit continues through the beautiful colonnade of 200 columns and 14 altars, where we can see in its interior the Via Sacra in ceramic pictures and images of Portuguese saints.
Already in the heart of the Sanctuary, we will visit the Chapel of the Apparitions, the first building built in the Cova da Iria and reason for being of the Sanctuary. The exact location of the apparitions is marked by a marble column on which is placed the image of Our Lady of Fatima.
After a visit to the Basilica of the Holy Trinity, a new church with a capacity of 9 thousand seats, you can visit and admire several monuments scattered throughout the Sanctuary.
After lunch, we will visit the wonderful wax museum, which depicts the history of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. In this foray into the history of Fatima, we will also have the opportunity to visit the village of Aljustrel, where the three Little Shepherds were born and lived.
At the end of the day, you will be able to visit the local commerce where it is possible to find a wide range of souvenirs of the place that is a mark of the greatest pilgrimage in Portugal.行程概要出發地點
