This full day tour starts at 09h00 am with hotel pickup and set off towards Vila Real. You`ll visit the Mateus Palace, which was erected in the 18th century, designed by architect Nicolau Nasoni, and considered one of the finest examples of Baroque art in the country; look up its interior, the chapel and exhibition spaces, see the magnificent gardens and the winery. After wandering around the palace, we will participate in a wine tasting.
Afterwards, you ll experience a typical restaurant to enjoy a traditional lunch. One of the highlights of our tour will be the re-encounter with modernity in one of the most beautiful wine estates in the region: the Monverde Wine Experience Hotel, where some of the best ros□s are waiting for you.
Finally, you`ll have the opportunity to visit the charming city of Amarante and visit its historic center, with the extraordinary surroundings of the bridge and the monastery of S. Gon alo. After this magnificent day, it’s time to return to your hotel.
