On this tour you will see unique landscapes, and will visit the Monastery of S.Gon alo on the banks of the river in Amarante and the shrine of Our Lady of Rem□dios in Lamego.

This was a great tour, and the guide was a lot of fun! We had a good group of people, who enjoyed each other's company as well. Douro was a beautiful area, and the vineyard tour was good, although it was very, very hot to be walking in the full sun that day! The boat ride was fun too, although it was crowded with other groups on the small boat, and as our group was the last to board, not everyone had a place to sit. Also, we thought beverages would be available for purchase on the boat, and they weren't - disappointing on a hot day.
The roads were very curvy, and although our driver did a pretty good job, the others on the road were a bit scary. Possibly more patrol, which is beyond the control of any tour company would help. Overall, a great trip that I recommend!

The Douro Valley is a must see if going to Porto. And it is beautiful. I had an excellent guide who took us to some really interesting places--towns, wineries, scenic lookouts. This was a very good tour.

Beautiful views and tour. The only drawback is that the group was mixed English and Portugese therefore more than half the time we did not understand anything.

Excellent tour, our tour guide Joanna was very knowledgeable and was very attentive to the group. The scenery was gorgeous. Only down side was insufficient breaks at overlooks to get some beautiful shots of the scenery. Port wine tasting was delicious. Would highly recommend. Great way to see the Douro valley.

The tour overall was just OK. The guide was professional but very perfunctory. It kind of feel like she was just doing a job. The lunch included was very good and we got to try some local food. The rest of the tour was a combination of some free time exploring the churches/town we stopped at and going to local wineries for tastings. The information said we can sample local products, which from recollection was just some cheese bits and dried meat and biscuits. There were no explanation given of the products. Overall, it was an average tour - not really good but not really bad.

A lovely day, which for people who don't normally enjoy coach or minibus trips, was a real treat. Our guide Sophia, was charming, attentive and informative, and we had a real insight into the wonderful scenery of the Douro Valley.

Luxury coach turned to be a luxury min van .Wine tasting was only Two Wines !! Scenery was brilliant and the the guide very knowledgeable.
Moral of the story do not believe what you rend on the tour description. ! -
I'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Porto.
Our guide Yorick is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly, we got to see a completely different scene to city of Porto, a magnificent countryside scenery with all those lovely vineyards and mountains. We really enjoyed the food and the wine as well. -
Just fantastic ! the staff is very nice and welcome. I love the fact that we were only about 8 people visiting. It's much better with a small group. The Douro valley is just amazing and I really recommend this trip !! I will definitely come back !! Thanks for everything ! Natacha
