Travel with an experienced local guide to Braga city and the Peneda-Geres National Park, one of the most exquisite natural areas in all of Portugal. This full-day tour allows visitors to have contact with the history of the lovely city of Braga and immerse themselves in nature in the only national park in the country.
Listed as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, Peneda-Geres features a stunning clear waterfall, a swimming pond, and a mountain covered in hiking trails. Listen to the sounds of nature while exploring the area in a small group. Located in the northeast part of Portugal and neighboring Spain, the park still holds prehistoric remains and is home to an array of wildlife, which can be spotted during this tour.

Fantastic tour. Our guide Jo o was great. He provided lots of information. The hidden waterfall was beautiful. And the lunch was delicious. Looking to get out of the city....book that tour.

I am not as big a nature person as my husband, but I absolutely LOVED this tour! --and I say that with intermittent rain and clouds! Do not let those possibilities deter you. What a wonderful way to experience the natural beauty of Portugal. Our guide was also incredible.

This is a great tour if you love nature. We visited an old city and the mountains and waterfalls. All of it is outstanding. Bring walking comfortable shoes. Our guide was Tiago who was very good at describing the history behind all this place.

I had the pleasure of visiting Geres, which is a beautiful part of Portugal, with an excellent tour guide. Joao had expert knowledge and knew all the best places to visit. He was also friendly and spoke excellent English. The tour took us to several stunning locations and included a delightful lunch at a restaurant, where I had some of the nicest beef! The walking is not too intense and the minivan journey, both too and from the park, allowed us to see more of the country. Pickup from outside of flat was useful and the day was a perfect trip to compliment a visit to Porto, highly recommended.
