This day tour in the Douro Valley invites you to experience the local products that the region has to offer at a leisurely pace that blends in with the serenity of the landscape.
If you enjoy relaxed days this is the ideal visit for you! You leave Porto around 10:30am in direction of the Douro Valley. After a ride by highway we will present you to the Douro Valley at Mes o Frio area. The visit will start with a tasting of AOC wines of a small producer in a modern space in the city of R□gua. It’s also here that you will enjoy a light lunch, of a modern and vibrant cuisine, sided with the wines from the same producer.
After, this enjoyable lunch and tasting, you will follow to Pinh o, driving along the Douro, a small and picturesque town, where you will embark on a relaxing cruise on the Douro River.
Your day will end at a wine estate, overlooking this village, while you taste some Port wines, with a modern twist, enjoying the fantastic scenery that this region has to offer.行程概要出發地點

Couldn't have asked for a more personable guide. Hugo was very familiar with the area having grown up in the area. He offered much personal insight to the geography and culture including the plight of the local vineyards from the storm/landslides the previous day. We certainly would not have wanted to drive the hairpin turns and narrow roads ourselves. Lunch at Anetos and the wine tasting there was very nice. We had the opportunity to chat with the family at the other wine tasting while enjoying the breath-taking views high above the Duoro valley. We enjoyed the river cruise-even got to see eagles flying about and a nest with baby chicks. We highly recommend this trip.

Very informative guide/driver, Lola. She explained the region and wine making along the way. We stopped at Aneto winery for tastings and lunch. I had the smoked Portuguese sausage and my husband had the duck. Both were excellent. We bought some rose to take home
After a scenic drive we took the boat cruise down the Douro then drove way up the hills to Quinta do Jalloto winery for more tastings where the wine maker gave us a special treat tasting of his not yet bottled late harvest. So good and we couldn't even buy yet! It was a great day. I highly recommend the Cooltours. Lola is the best! -
Extremely enjoyable and well-run tour! Never seemed rushed at all. Hugo is the best -- he's both personable and eager to share his knowledge of the area. If only all excursions were so good....
