This trip begins in Porto, and then onto Coimbra, the city of students and the oldest university in the country, (12th century), and one of the oldest in the world. Take the time to visit the Joanina Library with its collection of over 300,000 books and some of the rarest manuscripts in the entire country. Visit the Old Romanesque style Cathedral (S□ Velha). We recommend crossing the river to visit the Santa Clara Convent and the Quinta das L□grimas (Estate of Tears), where the love between Pedro and In□s blossomed. We recommend having lunch at one of the taverns downtown, where you can find the most delicious snacks.
We then head towards F□tima, where Our Lady of F□tima appeared to the three shepherd children in 1917. Here, we will visit the Basilica, where Francisco, Jacinta Marto, and L□cia are buried, the Igreja da Sant□ssima Trindade (Church of the Holy Trinity), and the largest Catholic sanctuary in Portugal. There will also be time to see the Capela das Apari es (Chapel of Apparitions), a small temple built at the request of Our Lady of F□tima when she appeared to the three shepherd children, and Azinheira Grande, the tree that Jacinta, L□cia, and Francisco passed before seeing the Saint.行程概要出發地點

The Full Day Private Self-Guided Tour from Porto to Fatima and Coimbra was a magnificent experience! It exceeded all expectations. Our guide, Phillipe, was a knowledgeable, and considerate guide. His understanding of the culture and master of the language enhanced the experience. His guidance throughout the day included a safety net, that made for a comfortable, unthreatened time. His sense of humor and sharing of tid- bits was also so appreciated. Making for a fun, as well as, a spiritual experience.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the beauty of the town as well as experiencing the
spiritual beauty of the Processional. It was AWESOME!!! -
The trip turned out to be a rented car service as only me and my wife joined the trip. This is good our driver is super nice!, yet this lacks the guide service... as this is the reason that we wold like to join a tour...
