This driving tour begins with a breathtaking drive along the ocean, passing the Cheese Castle (Castelo de Queijo), the trendy Foz district, the Arr□bida Bridge (Ponte da Arr□bida) arriving to the centre where you will visit the Historic Centre, S□ Cathedral, Bolh o Market, Santa Catarina shopping street, Cl□rigos Church and Tower, Lello Bookshop, S o Bento Train Station, Stock Exchange Palace finishing at the riverside Ribeira Square. Here you will have the option to indulge in a traditional Portuguese lunch in one of the most beautiful parts of the city or continue to a nearby fishing village for the "catch of the day" grilled on the barbeque - a very authentic experience!
After lunch, you will traverse the symbolic Douro River on the Eiffel inspired Dom Luis Bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia, where you will visit a famous port wine cellar for a tour and tasting, learning all about the production, harvesting and transporting of this unique drink as well as enjoying the view and pure ambiance of the cellar.
Head back to the ship or hotel via Boavista Avenue, one of the longest avenues in Portugal, where you will view the award winning "Casa da M□sica" (House of Music - Concert Hall) and witness some remarkable stately homes lining this picturesque avenue.

This was my favourite tour on a 40 day trip! Our guide was wonderful, booked us lunch at an amazing spot, showed us all there was to see. We had two tastings, both a bit different. Highly recommend

Our tour guide was exceptional. She was fun, knowledgeable and knows her stuff! the Porto tasting was the best we had in Lisbon! the restaurant was well designed, had a great selection of ports- our first white porto ever! Delicious cheese and meat pairings! A great experience!

This was an excellent tour of Porto. Our guide was excellent accommodating and knowledgeable. Great way to start our visit to Portugal and to Porto.

Booked this for a group of 3, and found it a great way to see the sights of Porto in a day, there was a fair amount of walking and this includes hills, Our tour guide was local and knowledgeable and as a small group we could stop and rest for a bit as it was a warm day. We particularly enjoyed the port wine tasting and drive to the coast.

Very good overview of the city and a great port wine tasting experience we went to Churchill's but it sounded like that part could vary. One thing to be aware of is that even though parts of this tour are driven, there is a decent amount of walking up/down hills.

We had a great tour with Ana. She was very knowledgeable and customized the tour for our interests. We saw all our bucket list items and really enjoyed her anecdotes. The transport was comfortable and the day was memorable. The local fish lunch was off the beaten path and absolutely delicious. Would do it all over again.
