Panoramic cruise in the Moliceiro boats which are typical from Aveiro and unique in the world.

Stop At: Praia da Costa Nova, Ilhavo, Aveiro District, Northern Portugal
See the famous haystacks of Costa Nova. These traditional structures were used by fishermen to store their fishing materials and have also been used as beach houses throughout the years. Built near the beach, they welcome the sea with their fa ades painted in bright coloured stripes.

As excellent as our tour guide Gon alo was, the town of Aveiro was unfortunately very disappointing.

Really enjoyed the afternoon tour to Aviero. Gonzalo was very knowledgable and funny. The beach was beautiful and the boat tour was fun. The tour actually could have been an hour longer so that we would have had a little more time to walk around but other than that it was just perfect.

Tour is great. Although it rains heavily, I had great time.

The guide was very good - very friendly and tried his best. The tour was somewhat of a disappointment - especially the boat cruise which was really not worth the time and money. It was good to visit the seaside and Aviero, but overall it was a stretch with limited things to see and/or do.

Great fun, wished we had more time to explore the town. The guide was excellent on knowledge of the area on the way back.

What a fun time. Our guide was MIguel, who was very enthusiastic. I was sorry this wasn't a full day tour, because it would have been nice to spend more time on our own in Aveiro. The boat ride was enjoyable, as was Miguel's walking tour, and it was a beautiful day to be outside. Lots to learn about the history of Aveiro and the transitions of the salt trade in Portugal. Definitely something you should do either on your own or by tour.

Great half day trip Averio is well worth seeing while in Porto

Was interesting to see but definietly only do this half day because there's not much to look at and the car ride itself is 1 to 1.5 each way. I was recommend other activities before this activity. Our tour guide was great but it wasn't what I expected and definitely didn't compare to Venice, Italy besides the fact that were canals.

I would have spent the time in Porto had I known how short and unimpressive this tour was. The tour leader was really great! He was charming and accommodating. The destination was lack-luster.
