This City Tour begins at Pena Ventosa, known as the birthplace of Porto, with a visit to the Cathedral, built in the 12th century. After that visit S o Bento Railway Station, inaugurated in 1916. The main characteristic is the interior of the station, covered by tiles that represent important moments of Portugal history and culture.
The tour continues with a visit to one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, known as Lello Bookstore; beyond being one of the most beautiful, the bookstore is also famous because of the Harry Potter books! The author inspire herself on the stairs and the architecture of the bookstore to write the books.
After visit this wonderful bookstore, the tour provides you with lots of information about many streets and places in the historic center, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will learn more about important places such as Santa Catarina Batalha Square, Street, the gorgeous Majestic Caf□, the Bolh o Market, and Aliados Avenue.
At the end of your tour, you'll visit a wine cellar and get to know more about the process of this famous wine. You will have the chance to learn more about how this national drink is produced, bottled, sold, and tasted, then enjoy a tasting of your own.

Great tour with just a small group people. Knowledgeable guide and worked around the crowds..when we found lots of coaches at the Cathedral we went and viewed the Station wgich was stunning, then returned to Cathedral where the crowds dissapated . Port tour and tastings interesting and the treat was we ended at that famous Bookshop!!

We were the only English speaking people on the trip. Our guide did a good job of accommodating the situation. Unfortunately, the pick up instructions was confusing, and our guide jumped off the bus, with others, and forgot that we were still on the bus. The itinerary could be much improved. Clients need to be informed about any difficult walking sites.

Guide very knowledgable but had bilingual group scheduled as English only so each description took twice as long therefore lots of downtime between. We did not see or go by some places listed on the itinerary. The port wine tour was excellent @ Grahams.

Our guide/driver, Bernardo Bernie, just drove us by the sites. We wouldn't have gone down to appreciate the different spots and take pictures if we hadn't asked him to stop. We almost didn't see Sao Bento Railway Station, we weren't able to go to Lello Bookstore, and we didn't stop at Clerigos Tower and Church. We felt a bit short-changed. The redeeming aspect of the tour is the wine tasting at Graham's and Duoro River cruise.

This was a great tour for helping us get acquainted with Porto at the very beginning of our visit.
