See the highlights and hidden gems of Porto during this 3 hour private tour with Francisca. You local guide has a wealth of information to share with you about this magical city from the popular sights to the secrets of the city that are not mentioned in the guide books.
A mixture between the city's history and local life that lets you see the evolution of the city to the present day. On this trip through history, will find the places where it all happened since the twelfth century to the present, with a description of historical events far beyond the built heritage, episodes these that have shaped the personality of the local citizens and how the whole country see this special city full of small details and secrets. During our tour breakpoints vary between ex libris of the city, the sights, the lesser-known historic sites and even small details investigated in the historical archive of the city, to a more comprehensive and complete knowledge.
Francisca is a writer and architect and is looking forward to taking you an an adventure through the streets of Porto that will start at the top of an old wall with a romantic story to the deep underground tunnels with the mystery of secret victory against the submission.
