Unique in the world, vinho verde is an excellent reason to discover the region. The name will be linked to the main color of the region where it's produced, or to acidity that is its characteristic, as if the grapes were harvested green.
Within Portugal, Vinho Verde Route leads through a green landscape, divided into small plots between Minho, Tras-os-Montes and Alto Douro.
