This tour presents a perfect balance of food and drinks. We were treated to a variety of local bars, restaurants and street food that included high end to unpretentious. Along the way we learned a bit of San Miguel history and culture. The guides were friendly and funny and the group was just the right size.

The tour was exciting, informative, delicious and just a tremendous groove, with Leslie, an American expat who shares the history of SMA with passion!
How could this tour have been better? I can't imagine. -
We had a great time with Leslie sp. He was extremely knowledgeable about the food scene, along with the history and culture of San Miguel. The variety of restaurants on the tour was perfect and we enjoyed sharing the experience with our friends and the new people we met from Chicago. Great evening.

This was my favorite of the 2 food tours we did with Vail. The food was great in all of the locations and the tequila was too! I highly recommend any tour with Vail!

This was really a fun evening. Vale, our Tour Leader was a fountain of knowledge of San Miguel. She's an American who has lived in SM for 15 years. We went to 7 or 8 spots, had great food and a few drinks and spent the whole evening wandering the streets with other nice visitors. It's a great intro to the culinary scene in SM, as the choices are legion!

This was a fun tour. First stop tacos were seared tuna instead of what was listed, and I don't eat raw fish anywhere, but everyone else seemed to enjoy them. Along the way the last food stop was a street stand, and being a little cautious about street food I didn't eat this taco either, but the ones I had at other stops were tasty. The tequila and mezcal drinks were good, and the bartenders were flexible with special requests. The tour guide was knowledgeable about San Miguel and she led the walk at a good pace considering one participant used a cane. There were ten people in all, a friendly group, so it was a fun evening.
