Day 1. Almaty Altyn Emel National Park
This day starts at 8:00am with driving to Tamgaly-Tas, where you will see Buddha's images on the rocks and the scenery in the style of medieval Kazakhstan across the river, that were built for the filming “The Nomad” movie. Then driving to Basshi village for lunch and the afternoon trip to Singing Dune. Hiking up to the 150 m, you can be lucky enough to hear how the Dune sings. Way back to the village for dinner and overnight in one of the guest houses or cozy local hotel.
Meals: L, DDay 2. Altyn Emel National Park
After breakfast, approx. 2-hour driving to Aktau mountains for walking on Martian landscape and listening to the stories about inhabitants of an ancient ocean. Lunch and continuation to harsh Katutau mountains, well known by wild shy goats and gazelles living there as well as bizarre shaped sandstones, ideal for fun photoset. Return back to the village for dinner and overnight.
Meals: B, L, DDay 3. Altyn Emel National Park Charyn Canyon Saty Village
After breakfast, expect 5-hour way to Charyn Canyon, including stop for lunch in authentic Chundja town. Upon arrival to the canyon, you will admire the grand panorama and go down to the bottom of the canyon to walk around 2 km through the maze of the Castles Valley. After rest in a fresh oasis on the bank of icy cold Charyn River, walking back and departure to Saty village for dinner and overnight in a guest house.
Meals: B, L, DDay 4. Saty Village Kolsai Lakes Saty Village
After breakfast, departure to the lake Kolsai-1 (1818 m a.s.l.) for trekking to the lake Kolsai-2, located at an altitude of 2250 m a.s.l. (7 km, 3-3,5 walking hours one way). The route is accessible for healthy, average-trained people. Enjoying your lunch in front of the cold and pure-clean lake and afternoon walk back to Kolsai-1 for driving to the village.

Day 5. Saty Village Kaindy Lake - Saty VillageIn the morning you will change the vehicle to one of AWD local cars in order to reach Kaindy Lake (12 km). After sightseeing at the lake you will return to the village for lunch and free time to walk around.
Meals: B, L, DDay 6. Saty Village Issyk Lake Almaty
After breakfast you will leave a hospitable family and drive to one more historically interesting mountain lake Issyk, well known by beautiful turquoise water color and catastrophic events of 1963. After lunch, visit to Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “ISSYK” to observe the expositions dedicated to the history and culture of the Saka period, including a copy of Golden Man.
Having mentally and spiritually recharged by 6-day outdoor trip you will arrive to Almaty at approx. 7:00pm.
