    This tour starts from the usually-crowded Kamakura JR station. Over the next three hours, though, you will find yourself walking far from the beaten path to out of the way corners of this beautiful and historic town.
    Don’t miss the chance to take this exclusive and intimate experience, seeing parts of Kamakura that most other tourists don’t even know exist. We will dedicate 50 minutes of the tour to exploring the inner sanctum of a temple with a monk guide. Keep in mind that the maximum number of people who can join the tour is only four, which adds to the exclusivity.
    Fans of the anime “Slam Dunk” will certainly not want to pass up this experience, as you will get a chance to see the train crossing featured in the show’s opening theme!

    We rode the train from Yokohama to Kamakura for the temple tour. It was an easy 30 minute commute. The translator came from Tokyo to meet us at the Kamakura station and was very helpful before with directions and very knowledgeable and personable. Our guide for the tour was a delight and very knowledgeable about each temple. She also provided lots of background history and religious information. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Yokohama! Highly recommended.
