    Your ticket grants admission to all wings of the Ohara Museum of Art, home of the first permanent collection of western art in Japan. The museum is located in the center of Kurashiki City at the northern end of the city canal; it’s about a 15-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station.
    Skip the ticket lines and head inside the main gallery. Here are most of the highlights, which include works from Picasso and Modigliani to Gauguin and Warhol. After you visit the main gallery, check out the annex of Japanese paintings and sculptures, and galleries dedicated to Japanese craft arts and artifacts from Egypt and China.
    Your ticket also grants access to the Kojima Museum, located about a 5-minute walk away in Ivy Square. That gallery is dedicated to Kojima Torajiro, the Japanese artist who painted in western styles and purchased the art on display at the Ohara.
