Visit the Taiko Center in Kyoto in the morning or afternoon and start this 1-hour basic Taiko experience with your professional and friendly instructor.
"Taiko" in Japanese means Japanese drumming style, a drum group, drum music and a drum itself. There come in wide variety of shapes and sizes and have developed through the long history of Japan along with various traditional Japanese art forms such as Noh, Kyo-gen, Nagauta, and Kabuki. Learn the basic history and structure of this beautiful Japanese instrument while learning basic taiko techniques through simple traditional Japanese songs.
