Meet your guide at the JR Kamakura Station (approx. 1 hour from Tokyo downtown area by train) and start exploring Kamakura, one of the most popular cities where people visit for a day trip from Tokyo. First stop by the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine that is located in the center of Kamakura city and a perfect spot for you to take a beautiful photo. A lot of local Japanese people also come here to pray for the fortune.
Then visit Komachi Dori, a popular street with many shops and food stands, the Hase Temple and Kotokuin Temple area. You will see Daibutsu (the "Big Buddha") that is built in the middle of 13th century. It is the 2nd biggest Buddha in Japan next to the one in Nara. Your guide might be able to visit one more sightseeing spot depending on the weather and season. While walking with your friendly guide, you will also learn about Japanese culture and history.
