You could enjoy your layover or transit time in Narita airport efficiently with our friendly local guide!!
At first we meet at arrival gate and start the tour.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Naritasan Omote Sando, Narita, Chiba Prefecture, Kanto
Then move to Narita Omotesando street. At there we could enjoy watching many varieties of food stalls and traditional shops.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple, Narita, Chiba Prefecture, Kanto
Then we visit big Naritasan Shinshoji temple which is traditional and powerful temple over 1,000 years. For Japanese new year, about 10 million people visit and pray at the temple.
This tour is private tour, so you could change your itinerary based on your request.
Alternative sights are as follows.
-Narita market (Only AM except on Wed and Sun are available.)
-Sawara area (Traditional river front district. It takes about 60 min from Narita airport)
-Japanese local shopping mall (AEON)
-Traditional activities at Naritasan Shinshoji temple.(Japanese calligraphy experience.2,000 yen each)

Japan Wonder Travel provided a wonderful private tour of Narita during a long layover in Tokyo. Noriko was guide and she was on-time at the arrival airport and much appreciated returned with me to the airport very helpful as I was a little tired from traveling and not thinking at my highest level of functioning. It was wonderful to see the traditional and buddhist temple sites and gardens in this beautiful temple city. I enjoyed visiting local shops and experiencing some local traditional foods along the route, as well as riding the local subway. I highly recommend Japan Wonder Travel for those with limited time in Japan between flights who want to get an up close experience of the local culture.
