Stop At: Arulmigu Patteeswarar Swamy Temple, Coimbatore, Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu
Pateeswarar ancient temple was built by king Karikala Chola in 7th Century with several gopurams and halls, 'Kanaka Sabha' is the famous one with golden statue of Nataraja. The pillars have carvings of the various manifestations of Shiva and the ceiling has a series of stone chains, opening timings: 05:30am to 13:00pm and 16:00pm to 21:00pm.

Stop At: Marudamalai Temple, Coimbatore, Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu
Marudamalai Subramaniyaswami Temple is situated upon a hillock a part of Western Ghats, Built by Dravidian architecture around in the 12th century. (open time: 05:30 am to 13:00 pm and 15:00 pm to 20:00 pm)

Goddess Koniamman is giving darshan in the form of Mahishasuramardhini. She holds trident, Udukkai, sword, conch, scull, fire, discus, bell in her eight hands. Navagrahas are installed with their consorts in the right side of the main shrine. The other deities behind the sanctum sanctorum are Lord Panchamuga Vinayagar, Lord Muruga with His consorts Goddess Valli and Deivanai.

This temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan and Lord Murugan is worshipped as Anubhavi Subramaniar here. The beautiful scenery of Western Ghats makes the devotees to love this temple. Devotees believed that the natural spring at this temple has healing powers. Hence they take a dip and then worship this lord.
