The tour starts with us meeting in the designated meeting point. Following the greeting and welcome information, we will visit the selected shops where all tastings take place outdoors in the shade. Your local guide will share gastronomical and historical facts about local food, the Mediterranean diet, nutrition as well as know-how on ancient food cures. Each stop has a designated focus and a story to tell. You will learn about the Greek breakfast, how ancient Greeks used to eat and what, the Greek philosophy behind eating, the history of pork in the region and many other interesting facts. Our stops are 9 in total where at the end you will have lunch in a traditional tavern.
