Discover many of Trier s great sights and attractions in just 75 minutes. Every day, 1:00 PM, our certified tour guides take you on a leisurely stroll through Trier's Old Town. During the walking tour, you will learn what makes Germany's oldest city unique. The tour begins at the Porta Nigra, Trier’s famous landmark and the largest city gate of the ancient world. You will pass the late romanesque House of the Three Magi from the 13th century, before you head to the medieval Market Square, Trier’s meeting place, with the imposing tower of St. Gangolf’s Church. After enjoying this picturesque square, you pass the mighty facades of St. Peter’s Cathedral, the oldest bishop’s church in Germany and the Church of Our Lady, the oldest Gothic church in Germany. Next point ist the Palastaula (Basilika: Roman Imperial Throne Room), the Throne Room of Constantine the Great and subsequent Roman Emperors of the 4th century. The largest surviving single-room structure from Roman times. The tour concludes at the Electoral Palace from the 18th century, a palace of lively rococo, located in a lovely baroque garden - the Palace Garden- which is a crown jewel of garden architecture.行程概要出發地點
