Leave your cruise ship behind at Warnem□nde port, and hop inside your air-conditioned coach for the journey south to Berlin. After a couple of hours on the road, arrive in the city and meet your guide by Charlottenburg Palace.
With your guide on board, explore Berlin itself. As you travel around the western side of the city, pass along the stately boulevard of Kurf□rstendamm, and then stop for photos by the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. Learn about the history of the German capital as you pass through Tiergarten Park and alongside the towering Victory Column, and then stretch your legs on a stroll near the Reichstag. From these impressive parliament buildings, amble through Brandenburg Gate to Pariser Platz to see the Holocaust Memorial and F□hrerbunker, two of Berlin’s poignant Third Reich sights.
Return to your coach, and head to Potsdamer Platz, the large Berlin square known for its attention-grabbing architecture. See the former site of the SS and Gestapo headquarters, now known as the Topography of Terror museum, and come face-to-face with a stretch of the iconic Berlin Wall.
During a photo stop at Checkpoint Charlie, the crossover point between the historic East and West Germany, hear about life in Berlin during the wartime days. From here, take a break for lunch at Hofbr uhaus Berlin, a beer hall style restaurant that serves up hearty German fare.
Feeling refreshed, spend the rest of your afternoon discovering Berlin’s so-called historic heart. Admire the square of Gendarmenmarkt and the “book burning square” of Bebelplatz, and then visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Museum Island, home to Berlin’s five best-known cultural galleries: Pergamon Museum, Bode Museum, Neues Museum, Alte Nationalgalerie and Altes Museum.
If time permits, pay a visit to either the East Side Gallery, the former Jewish quarter ─ now a hotspot for art lovers ─ or KaDeWe, one of Europe’s largest department stores. Finally, relax on your journey back to the Warnem□nde port.

I had the worse experience with this tour group. The tour guide was excellent and knowledgeable. Upon arrival we went to a restaurant to eat and the waiter did not want to take my order. This was such a shame. They were outright racist and the experience was not delightful. For my monies worth the tour tour seemed sufficient but just that experience ruined it.

Was a long but EASY/comfortable bus trip. Went fast.Saw a lot in the short time we had. Would have liked more time but of course not possible because of the long drive necessary.

Wonderful tour! Long way from ship to Berlin but definitely worth it. Our tour guide Sam was brilliant engaging and very knowledgable! Saw all the amazing historical sites that we had only read about! Good price much better than ship. Well organised and made good time of the hours available.

Our Berlin guide was amazing and really made us enjoy our tour. We felt we saw a lot of important places in Berlin and didn't feel rushed. She gave us so much insight about Germany's past and present. Her treatment of the difficult topic of learning from the rise of nazism, evils perpetrated, and current lessons for our time was handled very well. We had time for lunch on our own. We had come from a cruise boat and they handled the transportation to and from the boat wonderfully. Great tour!

It was a good excursion.
I think our tour guide's name is Jonathan, who is from Australia. He is knowledgeable and managing time well. However, he sometime is somewhat inpatient when we asked additional questions about sightseeing and history.

We booked this cruise from Warnemunde, off our cruise ship. It was fantastic and highly recommended. Great driver who gave us commentary on the 3 hour drive to Berlin, which we were told we would not get. The Berlin guide, was amazing. A young Aussie guide living in Berlin for 14 Years, he was passionate and extremely knowledgeable, and had lots of fantastic old photos to emphasise points and show us the old versus the current. We saw all the main sights, and spent a good amount of time walking around them. Berlin is a lovely city, and we have now put it on our list of must see places, to go back to.

Really enjoyed our guide Lindsay. She was very informative and helped us see a great bit of history in Berlin in a short period of time. It is a very sobering tour but beautiful at the same time. It is amazing to see how Berlin has been rebuilt in the years since the second World War.

This tour was the highlight of our trip! We went to all the right places, spent the right amount of time at each place, had time for lunch on our own, and got back to our ship on time. The guide was excellent and really made the tour successful. He was knowledgeable, considerate, casual, and had many interesting stories you've never read about. I highly recommend this tour for your first time in Berlin.

We had Boris, a very knowledgable and engaging guide. His grasp of German history is amazing and he is entertaining as well. We needed more time, but given our schedule it was not possible. Very impressed with the efficiency of your tours.

Excellent guide. Wonderful time in Berlin. The tour covered all the items listed in the brochure. I feel it would have been nice to have the english speaking guide on the bus while driving to Berlin to give us a little more history.
