產品介紹
At either 10am or 2pm, meet your private guide at your hotel or the Alkmaar train station and set off at a relaxing pace to explore this charming historic town. With just your group and your private guide, enjoy the flexibility to customize the walking tour to your liking. As you wander through the historic streets, step back in time: Alkmaar is one of the oldest cities in the province of North Holland, believed to be founded by Romans before the 10th century.
Wander down the lively shopping street and relax on one of the city's many terraces. Pass by the Grotekerk (St. Lawrence church), and step inside during the summer months to see the two beautiful pipe organs. Visit the public weighing house, and hear about its role during the Dutch Golden Age when Holland was a major global trading force. Visit the city hall built during the Dutch War of Independence and see a bullet hole from the year 1573 in its fa ade.
Your tour concludes at the Cheese Museum (entrance included), where you can learn about the cheesemaking process at your leisure. Before bidding farewell to your guide, get insider’s tips about local restaurants, shops, attractions, activities, public transport, and more.行程概要出發地點
