With its steeply stacked medieval centre and spectacular baroque cathedral, Modica is one of southern Sicily's most atmospheric towns. It's also known for its food heritage.
Learn about authentic Sicilian cuisine and enjoy a hands-on cooking class, where you'll learn to make local, traditional recipes. During this 3-hour class you will cook a three-course menu with Chef Davide Minerva, who will tell you about the history of each dish and some Sicilian cooking secrets. Arancino filled with grilled eggplants; ragusano with cheese and meat; gnocchi with ricotta cheese and pork meat sauce; and dessert with orange, almond cream, pistachio and Modican chocolate are just some of the dishes that could show up on your menu.
