We booked this experience on a whim, and we are so glad we did. As we followed the GPS into the scenic countryside we started to wonder if we were going to the right place- and we were! Their compound is nestled on the side of a hill, and you have to take a dirt path to get to it once you are off on the main road.
Samantha and Carmine were welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. We do not speak Italian and they don't speak a lot of English, but we were still able to communicate well. Despite the language barrier, Samantha and Carmine were able to demonstrate good riding form to us and taught us how to ride safely. I've ridden a couple of times and my husband had never ridden a horse before. Carmine took us out on a tour of the hills and the views were simply amazing.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants to venture off the beaten path and have a unique experience. You don't have to have previous horse back riding experience, but be willing to learn and get a little bit dirty!
