    Let us guide you on a discovery of history and nature, in the season when the lake shows its most beautiful face, on the dates in which History stopped on its shores… In this tour, we will explore the western shore of the lake on the same winding roads which the German column of cars followed when it was escorting Benito Mussolini on that fateful 27 April 1945. We will visit Musso, Dongo, where Mussolini was arrested, by stopping at the Palazzo Manzi and come back trough the stunning Giardino del Merlo. We will travel through time to the places that made the history of the Resistance movement on Lake Como and to the days when Mussolini and other fascist leaders were captured and shot.

    Daniele was our tour guide for the Resistance Tour. He was born in Como and knows the area extremely well. He was also passionate about the WWII history and its impact on the area. He told us the full story about the capture of Mussolini and the goings on at the time. We found him to be knowledgeable, personable and flexible when providing the tour. We found him to be charming and would highly recommend this tour.
