The Asinara Island has been a National Park since 1997. Taking a trip on board of the train you have the opportunity to admire the beauties of the island and to immerse yourself in the beautiful emerald waters during long stops.
Our journey begins at 09:00 am on board of the the ferry, with a short and comfortable crossing from Stintino, towards the south of Asinara island, Fornelli. The crossing takes 20 minutes. We will disembarke on the Island to board the nice and cozy tourist train that will transport us throughout the day to admire the beauty of the Park accompanied by the knowledgable guides of the park.
During the journey from Fornelli to North, Cala D'Oliva we will immerse ourselves in the most pristine nature, where we will see the famous white donkeys, wild boars, horses, wild goats and, if we are lucky, also some mufflons. We will make several stops to admire the sites of great historical-naturalistic interest: the former prison of Fornelli, Cala Sant'Andrea belvedere, the Ornithological Center of Tumbarino, Punta Sa Nave where the endemic species of the island of Asinara and Sardinia grow, for example "centaura horrida",the Austro-Hungarian Ossuary, the small village of Cala Reale, where we will stop to have a lunch on the Gabbiano motorboat. After the lunch we wil continue to the small vilage of Cala L'Oliva and visit the former prison that hosts exhibitions. On our return from Cala d'Oliva we will stop to swim in the pristine waters of Cala Ossario.Our journey ends with the return to Stintino at about 05.10 pm.行程概要出發地點
