Itinerary:
Day 1
Your informative and knowledgeable guide will collect you from your Sydney hotel. Departing from the city, we travel north over the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We will travel directly to the Hunter Valley, which is nestled in the lee of the Great Dividing Range. Enroute we will stop for a short restroom visit.180 years young, this is Australia’s oldest and best-known wine region and is soaked in history. It’s a dynamic and fascinating area that brims with over 150 top class wineries, 65 indulgent restaurants as well as gourmet produce and boutique breweries. Our first visit is to a 5-star winery nestled in the Mount View region of the Hunter Valley, a well renowned viticulture area. Sample exquisite wines in your own private area.
From here we continue onto Leogate Estate. This opulent cellar door is the perfect place to enjoy that unique taste which only the Hunter Valley and their award-winning wines can provide. All wines produced from the great vines of one of the most highly regarded vineyards in Australia. Engage in wine tasting and enjoy a tour of the onsite winery to learn of the wine making process.
On conclusion of the tour, we enjoy a relaxing 2 course lunch (selection of platters, followed by dessert of choice) accompanied by a glass of wine. Further beverages can be purchased at own expense.
After lunch we travel to Tulloch Winery. Here we will enjoy a unique wine tasting experience in collaboration with artisan chocolatier “Cocoa Nib”. You will sample handmade chocolates, matched to the wineries current release wine a sensational way to conclude our day in the Hunter Valley Wine Region.
Day 2 Hunter Valley - Sydney
In the morning there is more time at leisure to visit other vineyards for wine tasting, enjoy a scenic hot air balloon ride, or visit Hunter Gardens (all own expense). Lunch today is at your leisure.
You are collected at approximately 2.00 - 2.30pm (depending on where you are staying). We depart from the Hunter and return to Sydney along the freeway to arrive back at your Sydney Hotel approximately 5.00 - 5.30pm.
Inclusions: Hotel pickup and drop off, small group touring as per itinerary, lunch on day 1, Wine tasting, Wine & chocolate pairing, 1-night accommodation & breakfast at (this applies only to A198HR/A198CH/A198MHG).
Exclusions: Beverages with meals unless stated, Dinner on Day 1, Lunch on Day 2.

The tour guides Messrs Paul are nice and professional. Just have to pay attention of time management.

The trip starts early (7am), Due to traffic reason. it ends abt 2pm, and 24h on our own. The view is very good, so as the wine.hotel Peppers is cozy and comfortable.Ps, very nice tour guide Paul
