Your tour host will pick you up at your accommodation to begin your small group adventure along the Great Ocean Road. Travelling towards your first stop keep your eyes out for wild kangaroos before arriving at the gateway to the great ocean road, Anglesea where we will enjoy a gourmet morning tea on the beach (weather permitting).
Journey through Aireys Inlet past the Split Point Lighthouse before arriving at the Memorial Archway built in 1939, marking the gateway to this famous drive that winds and hugs the coastline and cliff faces. Take the opportunity to get a postcard shot of the Great Ocean Road sign hung from the Memorial Arch. Make your way down to the beach for your first coastal walk, keeping your eyes out for wild koalas and learn how to spot them in their natural habitat.
Continue towards Cape Patton the highest elevation of this morning’s drive, the last section of the Great Ocean Road was complete in 1940. At the time, it was considered an engineering feat of the modern world supported by thousands of tonnes of boulders. Stop for an incredible photo opportunity before making our way to Apollo Bay.
On arrival to the seaside town of Apollo Bay we will escort you to our reserved table at a local restaurant to enjoy our freshly prepared lunch. All dietary requirements will be catered for and after lunch you will have the option to explore Apollo Bay with its gift shops and cafes with time to buy an ice cream or wander to the beach.
After lunch in Apollo Bay we make our way across the Great Otway National Park heading towards your next stop a beautiful bush walk through a temperate rainforest showcasing an ancient world once known as Gondwana. Here you will see one of the best living examples of what dinosaurs would have seen 180 million years ago. We will also discover the amazing Mountain Ash the 2nd largest species of tree in the world reaching heights of over 300 feet.
Be amazed by the wild Shipwreck Coast and world famous 12 Apostles Lookouts are next where you will see the row of limestone stacks lined up one behind the other. A thrilling way to see the 12 Apostles formations is from a scenic helicopter flight! (conditions permitting.
Loch Ard Gorge is next. Dripping with maritime history you'll hear stories of bravery & historic tall ships bringing to life these dramatic coastlines. As you descend into the gorge be mesmerised by the scenes of one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. You'll then round out an exceptional day with time to explore Island Archway, Salt and Pepper Shakers, The Razorback and Mutton Bird Island.行程概要出發地點

Absolutely fantastic day trip to the Twelve Apostles. Our guide and driver for the day, Shane, was very knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble. We explored various view points for photos and even ventured into the rainforest for a short walk. Lunch was excellent too. Definitely recommend.

We had an awesome trip with Jason! He was punctual, knowledgeable, professional and very personable. The mini bus - it comfortably sat 12 passengers, including the driver- was clean and comfortable. We arranged for reserve seating since my 6 foot, 4 inch husband, who is still recovering from both knee and foot surgery, needed the extra leg room. The front passenger seat was reserved for him even though we were the next to last people picked up. Jason provided a lot of informative historical and cultural commentary as we rode through both the city of Melbourne and the magnificent countryside, He was also a witty and outgoing conversationalist. His itinerary provided numerous stops for comfort breaks, snacks and photo ops. The views were spectacular and well worth the time spent and the walk through the rain forest was an unexpected pleasure. I have a feeling this will remain one of the highlights of our Australian vacation.

The trip was enjoyable right from the hotel pickup to the dropoff. I was in luck and got a prime seat right in front with our guide, Darryl! Darryl is a friendly and knowledgeable guy who entertained us with histories and tales of Australia and the great ocean road while on our journey. There were a number of stops with magnificent view of the ocean and surrounding scenery. During one of our stop, we got to interact with parrots and spotted 3 wild koalas before heading for a delightful lunch at La Bimba. There was sufficient time for exploration and/or photos opportunities at each stop and at times you can even grab a coffee during some stopover! This trip is highly recommended and I personally intend to join other day trips of theirs when I'm back in Melbourne. :

Did the tour with my mum from overseas. It was a lovely tour in a small group with an amazing guide Shane. Thanks to Shane who did an awesome job in every way! Will definitely do it again when friends and family come to Melbourne.

From beginning to end this was truly a wonderful day. We stopped at various viewing points-even saw koalas in the wild-before lunch. Fabulous selection of fish, meat pie, veg, bread and dips for lunch. Walked through an amazing rain Forrest before travelling to the 12 apostles. A full day of sights and experiences made much more enjoyable by our tour guideCampbell. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Being a lone traveller I found the small group of 11 to be ideal, I felt included through out the day. Arrived back at the hotel at 8.30pm, Would highly recommend this tour.

It was a disappointing trip as the Great Ocean Road was closed due to the road collapsing so I think we missed out on the spectacular views of this road. We did not feel it was a Great Ocean Road Tour more like a rainforest tour as the only part of the Great Ocean Road we saw was near the 12 Apostles. I was also hoping to see some lovely little coastal towns but all we saw was Apollo Bay and that was disappointing. On the bright side our driver was very helpful and courteous. Next time we will hire a car.

Even though it was raining, Shane did a great job of making the tour enjoyable for everyone! Views and lunch were great.
