After meeting your tour guide, travel approximately 2-hours to your first stop, the Twelve Apostles. Here, you’ll enjoy a unique look at the Twelve Apostles located right on the water's edge at Gibson's Steps, a terrific opportunity to take amazing photos. There is also a stop at the boardwalk lookout to get a vast look out to the Twelve Apostles (stop is approximately 45-minutes long). Weather permitting there is also the opportunity to take a breathtaking helicopter ride over the coast (own expense).
Next, witness the power of this majestic coastline with the golden sandy beaches, stark cliffs and history at Loch Ard Gorge. The gorge is the site of the Loch Ard shipwreck. There is also time to visit Island Arch and Razorback, formed by the rough seas (approximately a 45-minute stop)
For morning tea your driver guide will stop at the township of Anglesea and guests will have free time to purchase their own morning tea (approximately 25-minutes). Stop at the stunning seaside resort town of Apollo Bay, here you can purchase lunch, perhaps some fish and chips as you sit on the beach. Before the journey back to Melbourne there is an afternoon tea stop at the popular seaside town of Port Campbell (own expense, stop approximately 20 minutes).行程概要出發地點

The tour is indeed very insightful and the guide was also veyr knowledgeable with the whole area and it's rich history! He's a very funny, jovial, and very willing to share with the visitors! Great asset to the company!

This local tour operator is pretty disappointing. Our driver, Don, yelled at passengers for using the bathroom or being a few minutes late. He even made snarky remarks over the speaker. Absolutely rude given that we are paying for this. This is completely objective because we never "got in trouble".

Bus was very comfortable. Driver provided excellent commentary. I would highly recommend this tour.

A really fantastic day! I especially loved being in a double decker bus because you are nice and high and above the bushes to see the beautiful ocean and cliffs while driving along tip: sit on the left side if you can, to get the best views of the ocean drive. Our driver/tour guide, Adrian, was excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable and put on a lovely free morning tea for us once we reached the coast area they call it Bush Billy Tea and he served some lamington cakes and biscuits which you can try with Vegemite. We made photo stops along the way and the perfect weather made the day even better!
Our lunch stop was at the coast town of Apollo Bay and my two course lunch was included at the hotel but if you don't buy this lunch option, theres plenty of places to buy your food. The hotel was going through some renovations so it was organised chaos but the food was still great. After lunch, we drove through beautiful rainforest until finally we reached the Twelve Apostles! We couldnt stop at Gibsons Steps on this day because it was closed as it was not safe to go down to the beach but we got to spend more time at the other places. And WOW!!! Despite so many people with selfie sticks, finally seeing the Twelve Apostles in person was just awesome!!! I really, really loved it! At the next stop, the walk down theres a staircase to Loch Ard Gorge was also brilliant. The other walks to take were to Razorback and the fallen Island Arch but my favourite at this stop was the gorge.
A final stop for refreshments in a little town called Port Campbell was very pretty with a nice little port beach. Overall, an extremely well organised day by the tour company.
This is my 1st time booking with Viator but if you are coming to Melbourne, definitely you should book this tour with them! Its a long day but well worth it and the free wifi that actually worked on the bus is a bonus too!
