Humpback whales are the most common species sighted in the Whitsundays between July and September. As they migrate north to breed in the warm waters of the Whitsunday's. This is the best way to enjoy the whales and the iconic Whitsundays region.
Be one of the privileged to witness one of the longest migrations in animal history right here in the Whitsundays. Humpback whales travel over 10,000 kilometers on their yearly round migration from their feedings grounds of the cold Antarctic waters to the warm tropical breeding grounds in sunny Queensland. Of all the great whales, the Humpback is the most inquisitive and playful often leaping clear out of the ocean or slapping the surface with great fins and tail flukes in awesome displays of grace and power.
Jump on board for a half-day of whale watching and a scenic tour of the Whitsundays. The fast and sporty boat is the way to do it and escape the crowds. Enjoy the 5 star services while observing these majestic animals in their natural habitat. Light refreshments and morning or afternoon tea will be served on the day. With only 8 places available per session you will obtain the best viewing positions without having to worry about the crowds.
As nature dictates whether you will indeed spot one of the beautiful creatures, you will have the opportunity to spot many other local marine creatures, including dolphins, dugongs, sea eagles and more.
