We will cross the city on the way to the Muir Woods.
Stop At: Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, California
On the way to Muir Wood, we will make a short stop on the Northern Side of the Golden Gate Bridge Vista Point to make pictures.
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Muir Woods National Monument, Mill Valley, Marin County, California
Enjoy the natural beauty of Muir Woods. Coastal sequoias - tallest trees in the world.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Sausalito Boardwalk, Sausalito, Marin County, California
After the Muir Woods, our guests will be driven to Sausalito
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Westin St. Francis (hotel), San Francisco, California
After spending about one hour in Sausalito, our guests will either return back to the city in our van, or stay there longer and return to the city on the Ferry or go on our Half-Day Wine country tour.

Great quick tour of the beautiful and magnificent Redwoods at Muir Woods and Sausalito. Our tour guide Michael was extremely knowledgeable and made our tour all the more interesting.

Muir Woods was absolutely beautiful. We had about 1 hour 15 minutes to self explore. It was just enough time, but if you want to do some hiking to the 4th bridge the beach you'll need more time, The driver was extremely rude! He was very knowledgeable; however, he was sighing and speaking rudely to the customers- making sarcastic comments. The two other women I was with felt the same way and we had a chance to chat with two other couples who felt the same. The sound system was horrible. We asked the driver to turn it up and he made a rude comment, "well it's at 30 already, I'm not sure what I can do about it" in a very demeaning tone. I would not go on another tour with this company with the same driver. The second half of the tour was a visit to Sausalito. We LOVED this town! A lot of great places to eat, shop, and a great view of San Francisco.

We scheduled early bus tour to enjoy maximum amount of time at Muir Woods as advised by someone in your office ( I was told it would be at least 1 1/2 hrs.) We instead went to Sausalito first and sat on the tour bus for 25 minute because we werent scheduled yet to go into the park and nothing was opened in Sausalito as it was too early. Then when we went to Muir Woods we had only
an hr to buy our tickets and see the park! After our rushed visit at Muir Woods we went back to Sausalito for a shortened trip. This trip was too rushed...better to try another company or do it yourself. -
Fun tour, great guide. The walk through the woods is pleasant and the stopover in Sausalito is nice but there isn't much to do there. I just visited some shops and grabbed a bite to eat. Our guide kindly gave us a bit of a city tour, including history, on the way back.

We enjoyed the trip. It was a lot of fun. One hour at Muir Woods was not quite enough. We were glad we took the ferry from Sausalito. That way, we were able to enjoy the beautiful little town. The tour guide was great!

Enjoyed the trip overall. A good tour to take if you are on a tight schedule. We had one hour in the woods and one hour in Sausalito. However, I would recommend at least 30 minutes to an hour longer in each place, especially if you want to eat in Sausalito. Our tour guide was great and we learned a lot about the areas we went through. You only had enough time to take the 30 minute, 1/2 mile hike in Muir Woods if you wanted to visit the gift shop, so if you are looking to spend any more time in the woods than that, this tour is not for you. I would recommend taking the ferry back to give you more time in Sausalito. The timing of the tour is perfect, as the woods gets very crowded about 11 am, which is about the time we were leaving.

A bit of a quick tour, but I really enjoyed it. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable. Muir Woods is stunning, even in the rainy weather. We didn't spend much time in Sausalito due to timing issues, but I didn't mind. Good excursion for a solo traveler.
