Meet your guide at Hotel Casa Del Mar overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Santa Monica. Your tour begins with a safety briefing and instruction on riding your Segway. The personal transport vehicle is easy to operate, and in no time you’ll be ready to start exploring.
Glide over to the Santa Monica Pier, with its abundance of thrill rides, street performers, restaurants and shops. See the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium and Pacific Park. Cruise by the California Heritage Museum on Main Street and see lavish Santa Monica homes.
Then cruise over to the eclectic enclave of Venice, which was laid out by developer Abbot Kinney as a fantasy replica of the northern Italian city. Today Venice is home to a thriving underground arts scene, an active beach community and lots of bohemian charm.
Admire the bustling scene of the Venice Beach Boardwalk, which includes the bodybuilders of Muscle Beach and the colorful artwork on the graffiti walls. Pass the studio of actor and artist Dennis Hopper and plenty of skate and surf shops.
Throughout your tour, listen to your guide share facts and stories about the history and culture of Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Keep your energy up with complimentary bottled water and chips, and stop for fun photos along your way. Our tour guide, Cameron, was awesome! Very informative and knew where to go and found lots of fun stuff to show us. Weather was fantastic and we could not have asked for better time.

Shorter than expected. Was not as described:Santa Monica and Santa Monica Pier were not covered.
Disappointing.
No snacks provided, only a bottle of water each. -
It was a great tour! The segways were a blast. Allowed us to cover lots of ground in a minimal amount of time. Our guide, Cameron, was very informative and made the tour lots of fun.

one of the best starts to our holiday - a must do - such a fun experience and I am a fussy person - and also the most scared of such things but this was great, worth every penny! no problems recommending this to one and all!

Great way to see and experience Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Our guide was excellent, kept us entertained and the Segway is the best way to see it all!

It was brilliant. Once you accept there will be feedback from the runners, cyclists and walkers - you know you can just Segway past without any effort. Stand tall and enjoy the experience.
