Meet in the Pier Village at The Half Shell located at 504 Beachview Drive St, so you can check-in with your guide then the group will venture into St. Simons Village Pier at 11:30am to eat delicious seafood from local restaurants that are near the beautiful ocean. Each restaurant selects the freshest seafood from the Golden Isles.
Once everyone is checked in with the guide, you will be able to start your food journey. Learn about the history, the lore and the natural beauty of St. Simons, all while sampling some of the best bites the island has to offer. Stop at 5 different restaurants for a total of 11 tastings. Come hungry and don't eat a large breakfast. Walk the entire length of the Pier Village and surrounding area with your friendly guide. Enjoy a delicious cocktail, which can be ordered directly from each restaurant (own expense). Leave with your heart warmed and your belly full. Enjoy a three-hour leisurely stroll, with plenty of stops for tastings along a mile-and-half path.

What a wonderful way to gain some local history, see the beauty of local parks filled with tremendous live oaks spilling over with Spanish moss, and to taste some of the very best southern recipes with the freshest fish, scallops, clams, and shrimp. Our guide, Christy, was bright, entertaining, and knew the best foods on the island. The crab cake and soup at The Half Shell were amazing, but don't leave without the best Bloody Mary on the island. We had so many wonderful tastings, but finished off with the most decadent and cheesy shrimp and grits and a Key Lime pie that was the best I've ever had at The Palmers Cafe. Thanks, Christy...you made our trip so memorable.
