Come for a guided nature walk and explore the best of what the Great Smoky Mountains National Park has to offer. For two decades, your naturalist guides from A Walk in the Woods have safely taken over 100,000 people through these mountains. They'll lead you to some of the most magical places in North America. You'll learn about the natural and human history of the Smokies in a fun and delightful way. You'll hear Cherokee lore and maybe an Appalachian tall tale. You'll learn what the Native Americans and Settlers did for food and medicine before there were grocery stores and pharmacies. You might even sample a tasty mountain treat. Every guided walk is geared towards enjoying the journey at a pleasant pace, using all of your senses to explore nature in a new way.
You will also explore a small family cemetery, a 19th century barn, spring-house and restored cabin, and more. The difficulty for this 3-hour tour is considered easy, with a few moderate spots.行程概要出發地點
Please follow directions from Downtown Gatlinburg. Do not go to Pigeon Forge. Please follow turn by turn directions to the Greenbrier Entrance to the Smokies off of Highway 321, 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg.

It was AWESOME! Debbie our guide made the experience memorable. We booked Explore a Simpler Time, but roads to the area were closed due to repairs. Debbie gave us other options that we could do. We selected a trek that was similar in difficulty. It was beautiful and Debbie was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and personable. By the end, it was like taking a hike with a good friend.The sights were gorgeous and we actually got to see a bear and her two cubs. I would definitely recommend this group.

I thought I would be bored with this trip BUT it was good , not only did Eric tell us about the wild life he mention plants tress and many more things.I,ve tried to put this review on tripadviser but it kept saying try again... Very wonderful hike! Matt our guide was so full of knowledge about the mountains. He was laid back and kept our pace at one at which we could see many things -- wild flowers, animals, plants. It was fun looking for some of the live items he had showed us. Views were amazing! I would highly recommend this tour.

This tour was wonderful! Our guide was fabulous was very well informed exceedingly enthusiastic and just a whole lot of fun!!! The mountains were gorgeous we went in late October and the stories and folk lore was a lot of fun to hear!!! The hike is not hard at all! Go and enjoy yourselves!
