We invite you to join us at “Moosehall,” our base of operations, for breakfast and start to the day. We will look over maps of the area and discuss our route, than we will either walk or shuttle to the trailhead, depending on your specific route.
Our coastal hike will take us along the most beautiful shoreline of Lake Michigan, through several forests, across up to two rivers, and even to a hidden waterfall on our property.
Possibilities include:
" Viewing a shipwreck (or two) - weather dependent
" Hiking along a variety of local trails, both through the forest and along the beach
" Swimming in Lake Michigan
" Hiking up to one of the highest points in the region
" Learning more about the local ecology
" Private campgrounds every night, with a view of the sunsetAll meals will be provided, and will include both a healthy travel lunch and snacks throughout the day. Tents, stoves, and other group camping equipment provided - you will need to bring your own footwear and personal gear. Some personal gear (clothes, backpacks, etc...) available for rent at Moosehall, our base of operations.

You do need specific camping gear, some of which we can rent to you - all group equipment (tents, stoves, maps) provided free of charge. Free shuttle back to your vehicle at the end of the trip.
