Drinking beer in the city that was once known as the 'Beer Capital of the World' and chowing down on the best barbecue this side of the Mississippi should definitely be on your bucket list. After all, it’s the simple things in life that bring the most joy, and dining picnic-style while tasting a variety of craft beers is a pretty joyful thing to do in Cincinnati!

Stop At: Moerlein Lager House
Your tour begins at Moerlein Lager House, a beer bar situated on the Ohio River. The bar’s namesake immigrated from Bavaria to the U.S. in 1841, and the beers here have been awarded with top honors.

Stop At: Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio
Next up, walk a block to catch the streetcar, and feel like a local as you ride public transport, watching the city's architecture and art murals go by. You're heading to Over-the-Rhine, a neighborhood known for having the nation’s largest collection of 19th-century Italianate architecture. This is 'the' place to go for trendy eateries and eclectic bars aplenty.
After picking up your barbecue meal, walk less than two blocks to your next stop, a brewery that, in their words, 'has a passion for brewing tasty beer that sings with flavor.' Enjoy your picnic-style feast paired with a flight of craft beer to wash it all down. The place is decked out with a rooftop area for when the weather is nice, cornhole boards, and ping-pong tables, so you can have a brewtastic time!

Stop At: Taft's Ale House, Cincinnati, Ohio
Then hop aboard the streetcar for another short ride to your final destination, a beautifully renovated mid-1800s church that’s been transformed into a brew pub; while you’re here, be sure to admire the stunning architecture and walls adorned with photographs of the only United States president born in Cincinnati.
Throughout the tour, hear stories about Porkopolis, beer, and other fun Cincy facts. No matter whether you are a first-time visitor or have lived in Cincinnati your entire life, you’ll learn something new. Feel free to use your streetcar ticket to head back to your accommodation, or stay at the brewery for another libation (additional drinks at your own expense).
