Welcome to an amaing Full Day guided group tour of Bursa which is the most stunning city of the Marmara Region.
Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul and transferred to Eskihisar Port for the ferry of Topcular Port of Bursa. From here you will have a short drive to "Green Bursa" enjoying the lovely country and the seaside. Bursa the former capital of the Ottoman Empire from 13th century is known for its pretty Islamic monuments, historical bazaars, the Ski resort on the Ulu Mountain (Uludag) and the delicious traditional cuisine. You begin your tour with a leisurely climb to Mount Uludag (legendary Mt. Olympos) by cable car for a panoramic view of the town and the surrounding forests. Uludag is a mountain in Bursa Province with an altitude of 2,543m (8,343ft). It is a popular center for winter sports such as skiing and a national park of rich flora and fauna. Summer activities such as trekking camping archery also are popular. Have barbecue lunch on top of the mountain and then free time for Atv safari at all seasons or ski motor and skiing in winter seasons (your own expense).
After here, you will drive to Old Bursa to visit the Green Mosque and the Green Tomb; the mausoleums of the early Ottoman sultans. The two buildings owe their fame to the exquisite green-blue Iznik Tiles of the interior. Exterior walls are covered with turquoise tiles as well. Also visit the Ulucami (Grand Mosque) and the old Silk Market in the Covered Bazaar. At the end of this beautiful day full of sightseeing and fun approx. you will drive back to the Topcular Port and your ferry will depart for Istanbul.
