Start your day with a pickup from your European-side Istanbul hotel, and travel to the port where your ferry awaits. Cruise south across the Sea of Marmara to Yalova, and then continue your journey by air-conditioned minivan. After just over two hours of traveling, arrive into Bursa, the first capital city of the Ottoman Empire.
With a your guide at your side, travel by minivan and ferry to the city and then visit some of its landmark monuments. Gaze in awe at the colorful grandeur of the Green Mosque, and then learn of the city as an Ottoman-era silk powerhouse on a trip to Bursa Silk Market and the Koza Han building. After lunch, ride to the top of Mt Olympus (Snow Hill) by cable car and some impressive city views.
Ottoman Empire was one of the largest empires in the history. Bursa was its first capital. The city that is settled on the northwestern slopes of Mount Uludag is known as "Yesil Bursa" (meaning "Green Bursa") from its beautiful parks and gardens located throughout the city. This fourth largest city of Turkey is also known for its peaches, chestnuts, and silk industry.
The city is frequently cited as "Green Bursa" in a reference to the beautiful parks and gardens located across its urban tissue, as well as to the vast forests in rich variety that extend in its surrounding region. The city is synonymous with the mountain Uluda which towers behind the city core and which is also a famous ski resort. The mausoleums of early Ottoman sultans are located in Bursa and the numerous edifices built throughout the Ottoman period constitute the city's main landmarks. The surrounding fertile plain, its thermal baths, several interesting museums, notably a rich museum of archaeology, and a rather orderly urban growth are further principal elements that complete Bursa's overall picture.行程概要出發地點

Are you serious? It was a nightmare. I boarded the bus/van in front of my hotel at the prescribed time, and the tour guide checked my name off his roster. We proceeded from there to stop at innumerable hotels to pick up and wait interminably for others who were not ready. What ensued from that point forward did not even vaguely resemble the itinerary I had been sent and paid for. The bus/van stopped several times so that the passengers could visit and make purchases from selected vendors. We then proceeded to Uludag, NOT Bursa, as promised, where passengers were invited to ski or go snowmobiling NOT on the tour agenda. I was forced to get of the bus/van and wait nearly two hours in the freezing cold while others partook of these activities. We finally proceeded from there to Bursa and were allowed 40 minutes to peruse a mosque, a tomb, a park, and a silk shop. That was it for Bursa. We never came anywhere near never mind stopped at the Koza Han or any other bazaar. And it was nightfall by then, so I didn't see much of anything at all. En route back to Isanbul, we were treated to three more stops at merchants chosen by either the driver, guide, or both. We were also treated to a stop at a car wash. What fun! The tour was suposed to be in English. The guide spoke about 500 words of heavily-accented English and was barely understandable. Thank you for ruining my and my comanion's entire day comrising 16 worthless hours from beginning to end.

This was one of the worst day trips I've ever taken. In effect it was a 16 hours shopping strip. We signed on because of a day trip I took to Bursa years about 12 years ago where we visited the green mosque and other sites. This trip was one shopping stop after another with the mosque and mausoleum visit at the end after dark. The synopsis suggests you take the cable car during the day. It was not. Again after dark so the views were not so great except for the city lights.
To make it worse we were given a lunch in a freezing cold restaurant. Then taken to the mountain top where we were told we had to take a chair lift and/or mountain bike ride at an additional cost. The option was to wait in the very cold while any who wanted those activities partook. Not sure what or where the bus driver and guide went when they dropped us off.
Even the shopping stops were expensive. I would expect them to be so but as an example the place which sold olive oil was 65 - 80 higher than the same product was sold in Taxsim Square in Istanbul.
No one should take this tour - look for other options.
