We pick you up from your centrally located Hotel or we meet you at central point in the Old City.
Before visiting the first sight of the day, your guide will tell you what is the plan for the day.
The Tour starts at Sultan Ahmet Center, the heart of the Old City from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires ruled.
MORNING PROGRAMME VISIT OF UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SIGHTS:Hagia Sophia, the Church of the Divine Wisdom, built in 537 AD by Emperor Justinian as world's first large dome building. It was the religious focal point of the Orthodox Church before its conversion in a Mosque.
Topkap1 Palace, was from the 15th to the 19th Century the principle residence of the Turkish Ottoman Empire Famous for the imperial treasury and sacred Islamic relics of Prophet Mohammed.
Hippodrome, center of sportive events (chariot races, athletics) and political activities of the old city. Serpentine Column, Obelisk of Theodosius and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating the Hippodrome.
Blue Mosque, famous for its blue Iznik tiles and unique 6 minarets, 0s one of the finest examples of classical Ottoman architecture, the mosque was built at the in the 17th century Sultan Ahmet I who demanded a mosque to rival the grandeur of the Hagia Sophia.LUNCH:
We will have lunch at the Grand Bazaar. One of the world’s most famous souks. Comprising nearly 60 streets and nearly 4000 shops, the bazaar can be overwhelming. Let your guide introduce you to its colorful (if chaotic) highlights. After lunch have some free time to browse the gold, jewellery, silver, textile, leather, pottery and spice shops.
AFTERNOON PROGRAMME:
After lunch we walk through the Egyptian Bazaar to our Bosphorus Ferry at the Golden Horn. According to history, Hatice Sultan the Egyptian Bazaar in 1660, as a result of the taxes collected from Cairo for the trade of Egyptian commodities, especially spices and herbs.
Once we exit the Egyptian Bazaar we see the beautiful Golden Horn in front of us. Now continue like a member of the City from the Golden Horn to Kadik y by crossing the Bosphorus by Ferry.
Kad1k y Asian Side ancient and Byzantine Chalcedon, is a large, populous, and cosmopolitan district of Istanbul on the northern shore of the Sea of Marmara, facing the historic city centre on the European Side of the Bosphorus. Kad1k y is also the name of the most prominent neighbourhood of the district, a residential and commercial area that, with its numerous bars, cinemas and bookshops, is the cultural centre of the Anatolian side of Istanbul.
Around 5pm we will return to the European Side again by the Ferry. The tour ends at the Port at the Golden Horn.行程概要出發地點
