Leave your centrally located Istanbul hotel by luxury Mercedes minivan and, as you travel, hear interesting nuggets from your guide on Istanbul's claim-to-fame as the world's only city to span two continents ─ Europe and Asia, with the Bosphorus Strait snaking between them.
Arrive at the bustling Spice Bazaar and explore this evocative marketplace. Inhale the exotic aromas as you browse stalls piled with herbs, spices and foodstuffs, and perhaps buy some goodies.
Next, board a sightseeing boat to cruise along the Bosphorus. This world-famous waterway treats you to a roll call of sights along the city's European and Asian shores. While you cruise, spot top Istanbul attractions such as the crenelated Rumeli Fortress and Y1ld1z Park amid rows of wooden Ottoman villas, mosques, markets and restaurants.
Afterward, visit Dolmabah e Palace, the lavish palace built by one of the last Ottoman emperors in 1854. Behold the neoclassical exterior and tour the flamboyant interiors, designed in European and Ottoman style. As you walk through the salons, learn how no expense was spared in their construction, with architects told to lavish 14 tons of gold on the ceilings alone.
Break your explorations for lunch (own expense) at a local restaurant or cafe, and afterward, head for the aml1ca Hill, Istanbul’s highest point. Drink in the sweeping views from its summit, and then cross the vast Bosphorus Bridge, feeling the thrill as you cross between the continents in a matter of minutes.

At the onset, I would still like to believe that viator is a professional company and our next experience/ s would be better. Not giving up on you guys.
This tour was however marred by:
1. Change of vehicle 5 times between minivans and big tour buses
2. Promised a merc minivan but made to sit thrice on the big bus
3. Accordingly, the group size kept changing from 9 to 25 as against a promised 12 max
4. Tour guide was excellent but most of the times kept speaking to the Spanish guys in Spanish leaving us to the the other tour guide who was generally addressing a bigger audience. Logistically difficult. No complaints against that tour guide specifically but this is not what we had paid for.
5. I had to raise this issue with your local support a number of times but he expressed his inability to deliver us exactly what had been promised in the packageThe local support was a decent guy, gave us a complimentary night cruise but it was with 250 persons. Though it was decent however that's not why we booked our tour through viator.

This tour was very good to see the other side of Istambul. The Dolmabahce Palace is really amazing and worth to see. The tour guide could have told us more about the history of the place.

Awesome tour. Dolmabahce Palace was stunning. A good way to get your bearings of the city in your first few days.

We were lucky having Unal Aydin as guide in this tour. The hall journey was so exciting and informative.
This tour was a reference for us to compare other tours and guides. It wasn't easy for the others. If we will have the chance to comeback to Istanbul, we will look for sure for City of Sultans and ask for Unal Aydin. -
The Dolmabahce Palace was not available because it was closed on the day that we booked the tour. This was not the tour guides fault and we knew it in advance. We did an alternative attraction. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Would suggest that you book on the day that this palace is available.

Excelente. N o pudemos ir Dolmabah e porque estava fechado, mas a visita foi substitu□da por um almo o e pela visita ao Centro da Igreja Ortodoxa em Istambul.
O cruzeiro pelo B□sforo dispensa coment□rios. Tivemos a sorte de faz□-lo num dia de sol e c□u azul.

The tour was worthwhile and interesting. Our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. My wife fell ill on our booked date. The owner very obligingly rescheduled our tour date as he turned up in the hotel lobby to pick us up.
I would definitely book through City of Sultans again. -
