In present day Thailand, elephants are only used as tremendously powerful beasts of burden. But in the earlier times, they were a vital part of the King's army and played a very important role in Thai History.
On this trip you will witness the traditional techniques still used in the elephant training process. Wonder at the delicacy and preciseness of such gigantic creatures in action. For a small fee, the adventurous can also enjoy the short but unforgettable elephant ride!
On the return journey to the hotel a stop is made at the beautiful Mae Sa Waterfall, as well as one of the region's orchid farms displaying a full variety of some of Thailand's exquisite blooms.

We were able to fit in 3 activities during this tour. First was the Orchid Farm, second was the elephant camp, and third was the tiger kingdom. It was a very enjoyable tour. I got to witness Thailand's wildlife, greenery, and beautiful exotic plants. Both the tour guide and driver were very welcoming, and informative.
If you want a short tour just for the morning, I would recommend this one.

Fabulous e is the only way I can describe this trip, to be snuggled by a baby elephant is indescribable !! This is definitely a trip worth going on, we would have liked to ave done the whole day trip but my husband has had major surgery, so we thought tis was second best.... It wasn't, it was an amazing experience.

Friendly and informative guide. Elephant experience was good but way too busy and felt a bit rushed. For example we could not enjoy the elephant bathing as we needed to to rush to get a good viewpoint for the next activity.

we were picked up on time in a van with 5 other people. we loved the small group experience. the elephants were marvelous and our hour long treck on top of one in the jungle was amazing. we had the added bonus of going to the butterfly farm, and one of the other couples wanted to go to tiger kingdom, so our tour guide took us, and while we didn't get down in the cages with the tigers, my husband and I did take many pictures of others doing that. I also had the chance to have a fish pedicure., which was fun, but I don't ever need to repeat. the tour, however was fabulous, and the company and guide were excellent. we used them again the next day to go to several local places and had a wonderful time.

Nothing spectacular but it was an enjoyable half day trip out. Elephant ride was really good but the elephant show wasn't for everyone, a bit like a circus but i enjoyed it, my partner didn't and our 2 year old son got very bored after a while. Elephants painting was good to watch and wanted to buy one of the paintings but they were expensive for a good one so unfortunately i didn't buy one.
- The tour guide was very friendly and informative and we enjoyed the morning very much. The elephant ride was brilliant and was a highlight of our holiday. However we were disappointed that although paying for this tour everything involved extra costs even having to pay to go to the tribal village.
