You'll be picked up from your centrally located Bangkok hotel and travel one-hour to the Elephant Ground and Zoo complex.
This is the perfect opportunity to take a 15-minute elephant ride (cost not included, payable direct, approximately BAHT500 per person) as well as learn, via performances, just how and why these mighty creatures are held in such high regard by the Thai people.
There are a variety of shows on display, including elephants at work as well how elephants once played an important part in the battles that took place in ancient Siam. One show in particular will depict the battle between King Naraesuan The Great and the Burmese Prince, where elephants were used by both armies. Can elephants play football? Well, you will find out at one of the many shows complete with dramatic sound and narration.
The Sampran Elephant Ground and Zoo also has other animals on display, including crocodiles which star in the crocodile wrestling shows. Don't worry, the animals are all cared for well. The Sampran Elephant Ground and Zoo was accredited by CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) as maintaining one of the cleanest and most impressive public crocodile displays in the world.

Enjoyed the elephant show, the traditional dances and the elephant ride at the end.

Well actually I think it was a total waste of money first of all, they dont tell you that is a one hour drive to Sampran, and obviously takes away your time in the park. In adittion, it was stated that the tour would end at 5 pm, which was a lie, it ended around 3:30!! So I was there just like an hour and a half, Didnt even have time to elephant trakking. A total waste of money for sure...

If this is your only chance to ride an elephant, do this tour. It is a nice ride, and they will take pictures for you using your phone/camera. if you do this, be prepared to have your device out of sight for the duration of the ride- they will walk though the route and take photos of you while you're riding. Also, be prepared to tip the photographer and the driver at the end. The elephant show is for kids. There is an opportunity to feed the elephants at the end, but if the line is too long, know that there are other places in the park where you can feed elephants. This was actually really fun! The crocodile show is pretty much two guys poking and provoking animals, which was a little upsetting. We only watched for a few minutes then decided to leave. Our guide was on time, the driver was professional, everything was well organized.

This is a family tour. It was organized and punctual. The guide was corteous and friendly. I would not recommend this for a solo traveler, only for a family group. You get to see a nice elephant show, and some tigers. Enjoy some hours of leisure time and then head back..

The elephants show was interesting, but not sure if it was worth the price. Same thing with a crocodriles show that is also included. If you don't have the opportunity to ride elephants in some other place, then this is worth for the elephant ride (that you have to pay separately). If you have other activities including elephants, you can well skip this one.

The Zoo was awesome and the elephant show was amazing, I loved it but the elephant ride was the best. It was very peaceful. I loved it

Was a short tour. The elephant show was short but nice, ride the elephant after the show. Saw a crocodile show and got my picture with tigers. Overall was a decent tour.

totally such an amazing tour that we both have. entertaining and enjoyable and somehow we manage to face our fears in terms of the crocodile show. Such a great experience and its nice to be in Thailand. Just like home anyway.
