On this privately guided half-day tour you will visit three of the most famous wat's in Bangkok - Wat Traimit, Wat Pho and Wat Benchamabophit. A Wat is a Buddhist building where both men and women can be ordained as monks or nuns.
Wat Traimit is also known as the temple of the Golden Buddha. The 3 meter tall statue is made from solid gold and weighs 5.5 tons and is a fine example of Sukhothai style art.You will then pass through Chinatown on your way to Wat Pho, the temple of the reclining Buddha. At 46 meters in length and 15 meters high the Buddha is the largest in Bangkok and illustrates the passing of the Buddha into nirvana.
Your last tour stop is at Wat Benchamabophit, or the marble temple. This magnificent monastery was built out of white Italian marble from Carrara in the late 19th century.

The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is Thailand's most sacred site. Visitors must be properly dressed before being allowed entry to the temple. Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves - no sleeveless tops. If you're wearing sandals or flip-flops you must wear socks (in other words, no bare feet.) We had read up about the tour and had a good idea of what we will see but we had no idea the Guide (Tiny) and the driver would be so great! The temples and the Reclining Buddha were beautiful and thanks to the guide (Tiny) we got a very good idea of the history associated with these. All in all it was a wonderful tour.

Yelena (i think the tour guide was called) was excellent. Our car driver didn’t show up, but this did not stop her from giving me an excellent tour, we took a taxi to the first stop, and she explained the history behind each site wonderfully! As this was a private tour and I was by myself, she also offered to take photos of me with each surroundings, and each photo was great!

A very interesting half day tour thanks to our charming tour guide Nine who guided us through three impressive temples and the beautiful Grand Palace.

This tour is a perfect option if you don’t want to get up early in the morning and don’t want to waste the whole day in Bangkok only on one tour.

there are no identifying markers on their vehicles, my hotel had two entrances, they left me, customer service was unkind, they charged me 600 additional baht for the next tour

I had been to Bangkok before, but wanted to visit some Temples I had missed before. The tour guide picked me up on time and a prearranged Hotel. He advised which Temples we would visit and I asked to miss one of them as I had seen it before. He was happy to oblige. We visited the reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. It was a Sunday and there was a ceremony to ordain a Monk, so we could not have access to certain area's. The Buddha was amazing and the temple was very impressive. We then traveled a short distance to the Marble Temple, which was built using Marble from Italy. Again it was very impressive. The guide asked if I wanted to be dropped of at my Hotel, but I arrange to be dropped in Siam area with Shopping malls. The whole tour took under an hour and a half, as the guide really rushed the tour. For me this was fine as I don't ponder too much. But for some this may be a concern. A nice tour...
