This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Old City, Bern, Bern Mittelland District, Canton of Bern
Your tour guide will await you at your hotel. After a short bus ride, your guide will show you one of the secrets of Bern: The gardens of Roses, which is know to be the best place to experience stunning views of the old town. Your guide will lead you the path down to the Bear Park, the place where you'll see the animal, that gives Bern it's name. You'll cross the Aare river and it's old bridge and enjoy the unique area of the arcades, where you'll explore a lot of small and curious shops, before continuing to the Town Hall. Your tour guide will show you the living place of Albert Einstein, the hidden alleyways between the buildings and can tell you stories about former live in the old town.
On the way to the Federal Parliament, your tour guide will show you the Clock Tower and it's astronomical clock dating back from the early 15th century. The tour guide will show you the beautiful terraces of the of the Federal Parliament and the stunning view, that normally only the Swiss politicians have. On the way back, join your tour guide to visit the public square in front of the parliament building, where the water fountains symbolize the 26 cantons of Switzerland and try to pass them without getting wet!
Your tour guide will show you the contrasts of Bern - the modern train station and its business park, next to the old houses of the city center. From the university terrace, you'll enjoy a stunning view over the city center with the Bernese Alps in the background.
The tour concludes at the train station in Bern or your tour guide will bring you back to your hotel.

It's a very expensive 'tour' and Bern really isn't that big. Our guide was knowledgeable and very nice, but it was not worth the price. Yes we learned some things, we didn't know, but for the price, it was a horrible investment.

Dominique was perfectly delightful and we walked around the old town area for at least 3 1/2 hours. We took a much needed break at a wonderfull coffee house. She was very knowledgeable about the area and her English was exceptionally good! The weather was not ideal, but we made the best of our time together.
