DAY 1 - Depart for the Kruger Park in an overland game view vehicle. The tour will enter the Park at Orpen Gate, spent the first night in Maroela Rustic Camp (or Orpen) situated on the banks of the Timbavati River. The route will be down the Spectacular Abel Erasmus. There will be an alfresco lunch stop en-route. There may be enough time for a short game drive on day one before having a scrumptious dinner.
DAY 2 - Head for the next overnight camp, this is the first full game drive and you will get to the next camp around 11am, stopping at a picnic sites for a full brunch. Spend the hottest part of the day in camp, visiting the various attractions such as the Elephant Hall Museum-a shrine to the great tuckers who have lived in the park, or the Museum in Skukuza. Some of the camps have swimming pools to cool off. For keen birders the camps themselves are great. Some of the camps have shops where you can purchase anything from snacks to clothing and souvenirs. There will be an afternoon game drive in the area of the rest camp, getting back to camp and having an alfresco dinner in camp.
DAY 3 and 4- Accommodation will be in the same camp which gives us the opportunity to get out of camp very early. The Satara area of the park is a game hotspot and the S100 is well known for the game spotted on this route. The cats…are often spotted in this area. Rhino, Elephant and Hyena are regularly seen and if you get lucky a pack of wild dog. It is a birders paradise with many Raptors such as the Bateleur, Fish Eagle & Marshall Eagles. A suitable picnic site will be found to have a full brunch. There will be morning and afternoon game drives and a full dinner in camp. You may want to book a sunset or night drive on an open park vehicle or possibly and early morning bush walk with armed rangers (own expense).
DAY 5 - Head for Johannesburg but not before an early game drive en-route to the gate. Soon after exiting the park a place will be found for breakfast, either in Phalaborwa or Hoedspruit. After breakfast head through the beautiful Lowveld and up the Escarpment either through Lydenberg and Dullstroom or via Polokwane. The tour will conclude in Johannesburg.行程概要出發地點
