08h00 Pick up from your centrally located Durban, Umhlanga, Ballito hotels or King Shaka airport and embark on a 3 hour journey to Ulundi - heart of the Zulu Kingdom where it all began.
Stop At: Valley of the Zulu Kings, KwaZulu-Natal
The Spirit of Emakhosini is the birthplace of the Zulu Kingdom where 7 early Zulu Kings are buried.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: KwaZulu Cultural Museum
Experience the rich cultural heritage of the
KwaZulu Natal region, from the earliest
inhabitants to the present. The museum houses
one of the most representative collections of
Zulu material culture in the country, with a
fabulous collection of Zulu beadwork.
One can also experience interactive displays,
from touching tools dating back to the Stone
Age, to smelling traditional medicine and
playing musical instruments

The final item of the day is an overnight experience at a Zulu cultural village. This cultural village is a unique resort built amid thorn trees and aloes, comprising a traditional Zulu "Umuzi” or homestead, where the Zulu people reside as well as a separate area consisting of hotel rooms. The entire experience includes transport from/to Durban, tour guide, accommodation at a Zulu village and cultural lodge, dinner, breakfast, lunch and all entrance fees.
